Exelis Reaches GPS OCX Milestones for Navigation and Encryption Software

Exelis has successfully completed several software upgrades for the new Global Positioning System Next Generation Operational Control System, or GPS OCX.  Integration and testing were recently conducted on iteration 1.5 of the OCX navigation, encryption and Mission Upload Generator, or MUG, software. Hexagon Enters into Agreement with Topcon for TerraStar Network

Hexagon AB and Topcon have announced an agreement for Hexagon to purchase Veripos, which operates a network of more than 80 GNSS reference stations through its subsidiary TerraStar. GAGAN Certified for Aviation in India

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India certified on December 30 the GAGAN system to RNP0.1 (Required Navigation Performance 0.1 Nautical Mile) service level, according to The Hindu. The implementation changes and first live tests of BeiDou and Galileo on Teseo-3 GNSS chips developed in 2013 are covered, bringing it to a four-constellation machine.
