Toulouse, France, an aerospace city and the center of the French aerospace industry, was the birthplace of EGNOS, Europe’s satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS), in 1994. Airbus Helicopters Selects Honeywell Navigation System

Honeywell Aerospace’s LASEREF VI navigation system has been selected by Airbus Helicopters for its light helicopter platforms, the EC145 T2 and EC645 T2 family.
