New gvSIG 2.0 Extension Available for Accessing OpenStreetMap Data

The gvSIG Community introduced a gvSIG 2.0 extension that allows access to OpenStreetMap (OSM) layers. According to the announcement, for installing this plug-in,  the user must open the Add-ons Manager in gvSIG 2.0 and select the “By URL” option and “http://downloads.gvsig.org/download/gvsig-desktop/“. The user must select the “Formats: OpenStreetMap raster tiles support” package.
